Framing

Do you offer framing?

Yes. Every print can be ordered unframed, or framed in one of three styles:

• Simple White
• Simple Black
• Natural Oak

You choose the size first, then the frame, on the product page. Unframed remains available in every size.

What's included in a framed print

Framed prints are supplied ready to hang, with an approx. 3 cm mat between the print and the frame. All print sizes already include a 3 inch white border for framing.

Glass and Perspex

• A3, A2, Small and Medium frames are glazed with glass.
• Large and XL frames use Perspex rather than glass. It is lighter and far less fragile, which matters when a piece that size is being delivered by hand.

This is chosen for you based on the size — there is nothing to select at checkout.

Prefer to frame it yourself?

Unframed prints are available in every size, and a good local framer can tailor the frame, mount and glass to your space. In Sydney we would point you to Charing Cross Photo Framing.

If you are framing your own, ask for archival, acid-free backing board, a museum-grade mount, and hinged mounting rather than dry mounting or non-archival adhesives. These prevent yellowing, warping and long-term damage to the paper.

Looking after your print

Until it is framed, keep your print stored flat or rolled in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture, and handle it with clean dry hands.
